Still the ps3 has legs and a increase in internal memmory and a better gpu and snap you have a ps4 BC, and costs for pennies o the dollar compared to PS3 it could be a quick turnaround profit wise fo sony.
Also maybe bump the spu's on the cell clock speed too if its possible.
and bluray costs wll be down they could produce those for $300.00 out the door with gpu being the most expensive part.
still this generation sets up well for PS4 if sony remains in the business
