What a oneside view.

Let's flips sides here - most non-gamers think the HD consoles have only one type of game - violent action/shooters where you kill things. They all use the same control - sticks to move/aim, buttons to kill. They are all incredibly repetitive all you do is kill, kill, kill. Surely once all the teenaged boys and immature men buy those systems their sales will fall because they don't offer any games that anyone else would want to play. Only Halo and CoD have great sales, all the other games tend to only get 1-2m in sales. And Halo & CoD are almost exactly the same game except one's in the future. Those systems have no future.

And I could go on and on. If anything I'd say the Wii has a lot more variety than the HD systems and MadWorld while uniquly stylistic is hardly introducing new gameplay. Boom Blox is. And I could go on to great length about the variety of games Nintendo makes from Fire Emblem to Animal Crossing to Fatal Frame 4. But what's the point. That writer has got his head so deep in the ground to ignore the reality around him and pretend the Wii is just a fad, sigh, that he'd never see the logic anyway.
