Yeah, well I mean there are good reasons for having a lot of oversight on the construction of a nuclear plant (a faulty one would wipe out more people than 100 9-11 attacks and cause horrendous damage to the country), but we do need to streamline the process for sure.

At least Obama actually seems to be the kind of guy who is getting things done in office. The stimulus included a lot of provisions that are pro-green energy.  We had a lawyer who works in that field come and tell us about how happy the wind energy people in Texas are about it.

I mean if you love Obama or you hate him, one thing you can't say is that he hasn't done anything since he got in office. A lot of President's seem to twiddle their thumbs throughout their time in office.

I mean Bush used his first television address to stop research on stem cells. Ironically he was spending his time worrying about this and made the announcement on Aug. 10th, 2001, exactly one month before the largest attack on the American mainland took place. Maybe he should have been reading those memos he was getting about imminent terrorist attacks rather than worrying about stem cells!

No doubt about that.  Actually Obama lifting the Stem Cell research ban is probably my favorite thing he's done.

Either that or helping pass the anti-discrimnation law that increased the statue of limitations on unequal pay.  I mean you might not even know you were being descriminated against until 5-10 years later.
