It's a game Neo-conservatives like to play... it goes something like this.
"Hey guys we don't have enough nuclear power plants! We only have like 100 (not the real number) We need like... 10 more!"
"Ah... ok." (Rights are given to energy plants... building is delayed.)
"Hey guys... we don't have enough nuclear power plants! We only have like 100. We need like 10 more... give these guys the contracts to build more.
"Ah.... ok?
"Hey guys we don't...." you see where i'm going with this.
Lots of work out there in just building the 26 or so nuclear power plants we're supposed to be making. We could still use more though.
Well that and every time the enviromental policies change they have to pay people to come in and redsign freaking everything.
So even if Obama wanted them to go ahead they'd probably have to redesign everything sicne his enviromental polcies will thankfully be better.
Which he probably won't. So those spots will probably just sit barren for another 8 years or so.
