Since I'll be staying away from home in the future every now and then due to my work, I was thinking I mite need a portable console. But I never owned one before and I've only watched others play the DS & PSP a lil bit.
I think I should get the PSP but I'm not sure.
I like RPG (well, modern WRPGs rendered in 3D, not 2D) and shooters (3D) and action adventure (in 3D...). I also enjoy the coin-op Arcade games of the 80's, platform & maze games, run and gun shoot'em ups. Perhaps modern casual games too if it's really addictive, pushing blocks or diamonds and stuff like that.
I hate Mario and generally dislike Japanese games (xcept for Resident Evil & a couple more), I love Zelda though but my experience is only from 3D Zelda (Gamecube and N64), never really played 2D SNES Zelda. I cant stand JRPGs.
Any advice based on this?
What games would I like? Is there a "best games guide" for DS and PSP here or elsewhere?
What are the battery times and how are they charged?
Is it easy to get PSP games "for free"?
Btw, yes I may prefer games rendered in 3D but I don't want them to be PS1 grafix.
