As long as good games get made for it... it'll still be well worth it. The N64 and Cube lost the sales war, they had some great games and to many the N64 was the best system ever (definately not my first choice... SNES FTW) so if the N64 can be looked back at and seen as being a great system... so can the PS3... and more likely then not it'll do better then it's currently doing. So don't give up hope... keep hope alive... and tell Sony to drop the price to 250$ ASAP!
I'd also love to see a smaller revision of the PS3... it's a great kit as is... but it could use a face lift. I doubt we'll see one anytime soon though... unless 65nm chips can reduce the heat generated by the CPU and GPU more then expected.
Keep the PS3 fanboy spirit alive... the site needs it!
