^ I see you read my epic post in two minutes and failed to post a real response. Well here's mine. Why is this happening now? a few decades after the most polluting generations? why didn't the romans or greeks have freak weather 5 years in a row? why have we not found evidence of extreme weather that dates back under 5000 years?

This all seems a little to co-coincidental to be chance, It is man made. Every person that has looked at the evidence knows that the increase of carbon dioxide, methane and whatever else we emit has coincided with the disappearing O-zone layer.

We have proved that these emissions destroy the O3 molecule that forms the O-zone layer.

We have proved that we are creating these increases.

We have proved it beyond doubt that the O-zone layer reflects various electromagnetic wavelengths.

WHAT MORE DO YOU PEOPLE WANT????

It is horrible but that doesn't mean you have to deny it and it will go away because you don't like the idea.

That's what they said about global cooling.

If you didn't know actually plenty of varying conditions did happen during periods in our past. For example when England suddenly got a much nicer climate and started out wineing the French with vineyards.

This was scene as "freak weather"... and while it lasted the French were quite upset... infact the cheaper but often higher quality wines were often smuggled into france to french lords. It really wrecked the french wine industry for a while.

500 years of a bit more warmer (1c average) than usual weather isn't the same as five record breaking years in a row!!!

Also, your link gave me a little flaw to exploit...

See how everything has peaked shortly after industrialisation?

See how it started rising before industrilzation?

There isn't any flaw. Like I said. It's getting hotter. However it's a natural thing.

The way to stop it is to focus on ways to bring water vapor out of the air.

After all... most carbon dioxide is natural in the first place.

If Carbon Dioxide is your biggest worry it's not manmade carbon dioxide you have to worry about. It's about third world countries screwing up the carbon sink system. That and farmers.

However the reality is... this is likely just time for a natural swing in our climate... and unless we find an external way to control tempeture control we're screwed... and will be screwed everytime the tempetures do shift.

Ummm, I don't know about your industrial revolution, but I live in Birmingham, UK, the birthplace of the original European industrial revolution and we have plaques everywhere comemmorating advances in the revolution and the are all dated around the mid-18th century... look where the rise happens, on the verge of the 1900's. You can't look at a graph like that and say "oh yeah well I don't agree with the sudden rise I will say it was before then and close my ears"

...also carbon dioxide is by no means a worry to me, at uni I learnt about about a chemical that is 17,500 times more potent that CO2.

Oh and with regards to the bolded bit, thankyou for admitting incresing carbon emisions (thus climate change) is caused by humans.

Yes about 5% of global warming.  I've already said this.
