My point is that the OP clearly states that this is news worthy because it is a CONSOLE, then you go and throw in that other hardware makers have done the same thing and post a link to TVs. wtf?

 

A video game console is a consumer electronic device and so is a TV.

Aaaahg I know!, but what does that have to do with this thread!? Which is about consoles!
