Seems like a weird thing to do but if it is beneficial to the kids who am I to argue.
If more kids come out of school with a better education due to the DS then the taxpayers money is well spent.
If not...well let's leave it at that and be positive.
Oh yeah, I think all/most/some schools get their IT kit at a massively reduced price if not cost.
