Much better than expected, it might even come close to/or outsell the PSP ones (LTD).

It was reasonably big game on PS2.. sold around 400k first week in Japan on PS2... so seems like the series has sort of dead now... but with PS3 hitting over 100k first week... it is not a bad debut... but with poor legs on almost all PS3 games in Japan it is not going to have much sales after first week..
Only if PS3 price is reduced i think the games could start having better legs on PS3...

Considering Musou Orochi Z is just Warriors Orochi 1 and 2, with some new stuff added and made for the PS3 (they didn't really do much to enhance the graphics to PS3 standards), it's a pretty good debut.

Then it is pretty impressive result... i mean if a port which had already been ported can hit 100k in first week than a brand new game with PS3 standard graphics and sound story and gameplay can sell quite well.. may be these result will convince KOEI to produce a new Orochi game for PS3
