I got my copy yesterday as soon as it was available at my local GameStop. This game is SICK. I can't get enough of it. No complaints whatsoever, and I'm really looking forward to multiplayer with friends who also got it who live in my dorm. What a masterpiece of a game. They had BETTER put out a sequel.
And as far as that watchdog group goes... it's ridiculous. Parents should already be paying attention to what their kids play anyway! Don't be an idiot and assume that the Wii is only going to have "family-friendly" games forever, because it's obvious now that it won't; just like any other game system, there's gonna be stuff that won't fly with the soccer moms. So buy what works for the family and stay away from what doesn't. Simple.
