capcom HAS an engine that works on the wii-VERY WELL
RE4's engine was ORIGINALLY developed Gamecube Only
they should assign a bunch of engineers - and should have back when RE-4 wii edition went and sold 500k copies in a few months-2 YEARS ago- to updating that engine to fully exploit the Wii hardware.
to date we have not seen any updated re4 engine for the wii. we've seen the re4 engine used for dead rising, but no Updated Engine for the Wii yet.
is it coming? who knows- maybe if no "normal" RE type game is announced by xmas this year then the wii only owners will not be getting a normal RE game this generation, they have had 2 years so far....
