"Mega-hyped" is the Ron Paul/Snakes on a Plane Effect. Objects on the internet appear larger then they actually are. The hype off the internet for Killzone 2 wouldn't match anything Halo. Being on here distorts one's view of how things actually are out in the real world.
In regards to the sales, Wii Fit has to be a killer app, if there ever was one. I see the promo video they run at Toys R Us. It is low key, but then makes one think that working out could be fun, so it becomes a "have to have it" type of product.
