Activision Blizzard is leaving no stone unturned in their quest to wring every last dollar out of the Guitar Hero franchise. So that means, on the heels of Band Hero and DJ Hero, we may be getting Sing Hero.

According to IGN, Activision picked up the trademark for Sing Hero at the United States Patent and Trademark Office, which suggests that the publisher is getting ready to take on the current king of the karaoke genre -- SingStar. No surprise considering the number of Guitar Hero games due this year alone.

Of course, trademarks don't always translate into new products. But come on, you can bet it'll happen eventually.

it seems to me they want to cover everything they can while they have the money to do so. The economic crisis is said to worsen toward late 2009.. Activision is taking measures.. hah.
