Saturated? There were only three notable rail shooters announced for 09 before RE:DC (HotD, DSE and S&P2), I'm probably going to buy all of them eventually, but there'd have to be a lot more than that before I'd consider the market saturated. I'd say that some of the developers jumping on the bandwagon are unoriginal (EA) but I wouldn't consider it saturated; it's no where near the FPS problem on the HD consoles.
And I'm pretty sure they were planning DC before UC was done considering the big black hole that was RE2 in the first game.
