Well, they just recently bought Monolith Soft, and signed up a number of developers to make games exclusively for WiiWare.
Besides, when Nintendo says that they don't buy exclusives, they mean it. *cough* Sony *cough*
Do you want them to buy off Square-Enix or something? They probably would if they could...
