For Q1, which will probably be the weakest of the year, Nintendo made around $680 million. Compare that to around $130 million for same quarter last fiscal year.
They made about $1.5 billion for the last year which included all of the Wii launch costs and only 6 months of Wii sales. So in the first and possibly weakest quarter, Nintendo made nearly 45% the profit of the entire previous fiscal year.
Expect Wii sales to be at least triple what they were last fiscal year and DS sales to be slightly higher. Software sales should be substantially higher as well.
