They are?!?! The ones in stores are as expensive as ever, and I'm not even sure Nintendo makes them anymore. First party ones in online auctions are probably more expensive than ever, because all the Wii owners who didn't have a Gamecube, and some of the ones who did, want one. As for third party ones, I'm not touching them ever again after the last one corrupted all my saves. >_< |
They really aren't. Head down to Gamestop and buy a used one for 10 bucks. A Memory Card 251 should be all you need, they have the 1019 if you're going to play tons of Gamecube games on your Wii.
EDIT: If you can't find a first-party memory card at Gamestop (the one near me has several) you can order a Memory Card 251 from Nintendo.com for $20. I'm sure BBY or Target or similar places also have them.
