I don't see how they couldn't get it resolved relatively quickly. The big problem seems to be the few properties whose very ownership is in dispute. Other than that, its not like Tatsunoko properties are very big over here, so the companies that do own them would be happy to get any money for them

 

The other problem is that apparently the dev team that made it has moved on to something else, so they need to find time to get that team back together to make any necessary adjustments
