lol yeah the N64 era and the GameCube era's were like the Borg invaded the starship. Nintendo couldn't find their identity.

...Although it wasn't a necessarily bad thing as some of the games that were release for the N64 to this day are considered classics. =p

thats the era i loved them the most, i still keep n64 it have tons of pokemons stickers  somewhere,

Yeah I still remember Killer Instinct n64, being a kid then all I thought was the n64 was the sheit lol. But Nintendo i guess, felt threaten by Sony & Sega's of the world, and with whispers of Microsoft getting into gaming, they THOUGHT they had to have the most powerful system out there, software creativity be damned, and I think thats what Miymato is referencing. Remember with the n64 nintendo leapfrog'd the 32-bit era much like Atari did with the Jaguar...

...Man when I think about some of the game consoles I had experience with it's no wonder my moms was pissed when I told her I wanted to be an artist, still end up a techie though, lol.

The Interweb is about overreaction, this is what makes it great!

...Imagine how boring the interweb would be if everyone thought logically?
