This is just "casuals" thinking that they rule what goes on the Wii. Dont try to nudge out the "core" market. It's been Nintendo's bread and butter for years.

Just casuals ? If it weren't for these millions and millions so-called 'just casuals', the Wii would have never been as successful as it is today.

This is the other side of the knife: The casuals adopted the Wii as their favorite and child-friendly console, and now these M-rated games kick in for the 'hardcores', ofcourse those people start complaining.
They also complain when all of a sudden cable-companies broadcast x-rated movies at times when children are normaly watching e-rated cartoons or educational programs.

For the 'casuals', this is the same kind of situation.

I mean that these casuals think of the Wii as some new invention that just started gaming, without realizing that Nintendo is indebted to tons of "core" fans who have supported them during and prior to the Wii. They think that these "serious" games are a new thing on the market without doing their research. Nintendo has to cater to more than just a casual collection, especially because they are a flighty bunch, leaving no guarantees that they will buy a Wii 2. The core Nintendo fans will buy Wii 2, so alienating them would be destructive for Nintendo.
