What's with some of these reviews though?

GamePro (90/100) points out that MadWorld is on "a kiddie console."

1Up (91/100) says that the Wii's "design constraints" forced Platinum Games to be creative, and that it paid off.

GamePro is just being idiots who can't get that snobcore wang out of their mouth long enough to type (even though they're giving the game a 90/100), but what's with what 1Up comment? Are they saying that the Wii is forcing people to be creative? Is this the first time one of these major reviewers has said something this smart? I agree and think that's awesome, but at the same time, a game could have been made with an art style this unique on any system capable of 3-D.

@Khuutra, also, the consoles were way more expensive when you take inflation into account. At launch, the NES, SNES, N64, and GC were all $200, so after inflation, they were actually lowering their price with every new system. Until now, with the overpriced POS Wii.

The NES "Control Deck" package cost $200 for 1 NES, 2 controllers, and SMB. $200 in 1985 is $401 today according to Wikipedia. I've seen a list of console launch prices of every generation adjusted for inflation, but I can't find any good pricing info on games. Either way, even if they were $40 in the 80's, that's $80 today. And I know some games cost more than $40 in the 80's, so that would be close to $100 today.

Our games are cheaper and longer, so when people complain about a game being only 5 hours, we really should beat 'em up.

Yes. That's definitely much more offensive than having that avatar of yours.  You may have a point though.  $401 for a game system with two controllers and a game would be much more than a PS3 at it's release, now wouldn't it?  A Wii with 2 Wii Remotes, 2 Nunchucks, and say Super Mario Galaxy would be cheaper than that also, wouldn't it?  A new 360 with 2 controllers and Halo 3...  I know.  You want to beat me up now.  Right?

Are we going to pretend that Wii Sports doesn't exist and that a nunchuck is necessary to play any of the games except the worst one?

Are you are telling me that people buy the Wii for Wii Sports then?  Super Mario Galaxy would be more along the lines of Super Mario Bros.  I'm not saying that Wii Sports isn't a good game, but it's not an epic Mario game.  The Nunchuck is needed to play almost every single game on the system and you know that.  So.  Have you waited for eight hours straight for me to post here?  I'm out of here now so you can argue with yourself for eight more hours if you want.
