IGN: Is Final Fantasy VII overrated?

people love to bring down what is popular...sad really. Overrated? Hell no!

greatest game of all time?IMO, yes. in many others opinion, yes. in Everyones opinion, mixed.

Fact is the game is love by MANY. No amount of hating can change that. Many are just spiteful to the game because it is not there #1(which is fine), but because everyone is always talking about it they go from "its a great game" to "its not really all that,_____ was better".All of a sudden the game turns to garbage.

reminds me of radio music. you love the new song at first. Yet then the radio keeps playing it over and over. It then seems everywhere u go that same damn song is playing. You become sick of its popularity, and from then on u groan when it comes on and tell ur friends u hate it. That hatred gets into ur friends heads, so they lose interest in it as well. The spawn of resentment has been planted.
