maybe only 1000 ps3 owners were pulled and 17550 360 owners. that would mean 100% of ps3 owners play online and only 14% of 360 owners

They mean 20% of the 100% of PS3 owners polled play online.

In otherwords if they pulled 1000 PS3 owners... only 200 played online.

They pulled 5,000 console owners from each group.

Not 5,000 total.

out of the 5,000 who played online 1000 had ps3s. we have no clue what the 20,000 pollers had
