Should Sony leave hardware biz and become only publisher?

Clear bias when last gen the Xbox technology-wise was superior the PS2 in every way possible. The 360 was pushed. This is such a deep rooted fanboyism that it sickens me.

 

Yes and no. The PS2 allowed for DVD playback with no accessories yet the xbox needed one. The PS2 used a completely different chip setup that was much more powerfull than people thought. It pushed development a lot furthar than the M$ box did since the original Xbox was in fact just a PC in a box. ....It was Nvidias first Nforce platform.  The xbox also had a 2 year advantage when it came to specs since it came out two years after the PS2 and Died at least 4 years sooner.  So the Ps3 came out a year later than the 360 has a much more advanced and new technology in BD and Cell, pushes for the advancment in wireless and bluetooth while the 360 uses a DVD drive......revolutionary
