i'm gonna guess it is due to retailers over ordering HD games and under or correctly ordering Wii games.
Thus they have an abundance or oversupply of HD games on their shelfs and in back of store, so when those games sell they just grab from back and restock the shelves.
Yet when Wii games sell since the retailers don't order very many of them ever no matter how good game is, they have to re-order from take two more copies.
Thus even if you have the same number of carnival games sold in january as GTA4, in the store. Take two will make more revenue from the Wii cause retailers are needing more copies of carnival games to restock shelves, and already have extra GTA4 copies so they don't need to order more.
I mean heck wasn't it stated that there were 1.1 million pre-orders of Killzone 2 in Europe yet only sold like 350k or something. that means there are 800k copies sitting in stores that they have to sell before stores start ordering more. So Sony won't be making any more moeny off Killzone 2 in Europe for a couple months probably
