i haven't owned many of the pokemon games besides blue/yellow/diamond.
but i always assumed that the games came in 3's correct.
blue/red/yellow
diamond/pearl/plattinum
ruby/emerald/ect.
I assumed that the 3rd one always had you start with (no idea, pikachu) and then you could collect all three like you could in yellow.
But your saying only Yellow had that awesome idea?
