The Wii is marketed as being a console for the living room. Even Nintendo themselves said it's a friendly system so the whole family can play. I welcome this because I hate online intensely. I imagine most developers look at how the Wii is 1)orientated to being a console where 2-4 people gather together and play and 2)the fact the vast majority of Wii's aren't online. Because the expanded audience has no interest in it. So the developer comes to the logical conclusion that online for Wii just isn't worth it. I personnally wish all games had no online. Online gaming just brings my piss to a raging boil.
