I'd beg to differ, I think certain games get inflated scores on the Wii because they are targetted at the core gamers.
A game as long as this, UC or House of the Dead on either of the HD platforms would get blasted for that, where as these are casually mentioned and then tossed aside on the way to an 8/10. Also, certain games that have good concepts (De Blob, NMH) but fall flat on crucial parts (gameplay) still get good scores and praise.
I know that Wii games tend to get a hard time because they aren't HD graphics, but that doesn't mean you (as a reviewer) go easy on them when they have a great concept/art but fail as a game (which is what I see review sites like IGN doing these days).
Great score for this game though. I'm going to give it a rent, I'm not sure how I feel about gameplay yet, and if I don't plan on replaying it, I think it'd be a waste of money (paying around $80 for 5 hours is a bit steep for me).
