What is with the hostility of PC gamers towards console gamers?

Budget gaming PCs can last over 4 years unlike the original xbox and cost you about $599 unlike the ps3 which you still had to buy HD cables and a second controller. (I know burn for both MS and Sony at the same time, heh)

 

Are you serious? $599? I have a friend of whom money is no object to him and to build the desired gaming PC it was around $800 for him from buying parts a Tiger Direct. You'll never find a gaming laptop for under $900 as well. Alienware, Dell XPS and more. As you can tell I stopped using a PC and switched to a laptop since I don't game on PC any longer (LOL).
