What is with the hostility of PC gamers towards console gamers?

Obvioslly nothing is future proof. But think of the power that a next gen console would have to have to make a PS3 or 360 look like a Gamecube or PS2.

For example look at the jump from Killzone to killzone 2. Imagine how expensive a console would have to be to Make Killzone 2 look like Killzone 1. These consoles were built to be on the cutting edge for years.

 

I totally agree. I think consoles are going in a very good direction and if they are blessed with great games by devs, then it makes console hype increase beyond measure. I believe the graphics of the next console will be on par with PC next gen if I do say so myself.

My issue is that Pro-PC gamers seem so reliant on the PC's existing greatness than they blind themselves.
