Please Sega has killer advertising in comparison to other game publishers. Do you guys remember the six flag sonic and the secret ring commercials. Sega knows that marketing a game is what sells it (just look at the mediocre Sonic and the Secret Rings sales).

This games going to bring down the stereotypical Wii cant have a strong first week kind of thinking. I expect first week sales worldwide over over 300k with legs to die for. This games going to be marketed, critically acclaimed, and it's entering a genre wii owners are starving for.

I honestly think this games sales will be in the realm of Metroid Prime 3's. That one was marketed, critically acclaimed, and launched on a smaller userbase.

Yup, The Conduit is really going to prove that a Wii game can have a big launch with first week sales of 300k. Nevermind the 2.7 million launch for Brawl (one of the highest this generation), the 1.6 million for Wii Fit, or the 1.1 million for Super Mario Galaxy. And we don't know yet if it will be critically acclaimed so will people stop acting like it's already been determined? Besides, if this game sells around the same as Metroid Prime 3, that would truly be a disappointment.

I should of specefied that I meant the third party launch week.  Also please explain how sales above 1.5 million worldwide could ever be a dissapointment based on the genre?  A fps on wii selling 1.5 million is a really great achievement.  It would turn a substantial profit for high voltage.

As far as being critically acclaimed lets be serious.  Every single preview has been positive theres a slim chance it won't be.  I'm not going to say it's a shoe in, but history has told us most games well previewed by 90% of the media are at least decent games.
