RRoD should be covered by 3 years. anything else that goes faulty is standard 1years cover.
Mine broke down twice within the year but none of the faults were RRoD. Both times were sent to MS to be fixed and within that time I was playing the DS.
Now almost 3 years on still no RRoD and DS is just gathering dust..
I got june 2006 model.. and I have my console on a LOT ------->> FFXI
