Not trying to be a party pooper but ultra violence isn't a hardcore make at least not a hardcore gamer. Now if she tlold you to pre-order FFIV for the DS or pick it up then and there, then proceeded to beat the game without ever remembering to save... that's hardcore; very hardcore .
