Until the HALLMARKS of the genre don't come out JRPG's aren't doomed
FFXIII & DQX are the hallmarks of the genre.....we can't deem the fate of JRPG's this gen till the ones that will probably bring the JRPG fanbase to this gen come out!

thats like saying.,.....the FPS genre was doomed due to COD 3 sales before Halo 3 even came out
