Should Sony leave hardware biz and become only publisher?

If MS and Sony left their would be hell, hardcore gamers would raid Nintendo HQ. 

 

Hardcore owners won't get very far against Nintendo. They have to cross the Blue Ocean to get there and they don't have any decent boats as they are still in the Fuedal age.

The industry needs 1 and not both of Sony/Microsoft.
