Probably.
Having read the original material you will already have strong hopes and opinions of what will be in the film. As it is a graphic novel the look and feel of it has already determined so to change that would be a disaster.
Depends if you want to see an exact copy of the novel displayed on the screen or something thats takes the best or strongest elements.
