In Canary Islands (Spain) Little Big Planet pack costs 340€... I don't how how much cost the PS3 alone.

In my opinion they can't still cut the price... in EU PS3 only is 2 years old.

First day it costs 600€, 2 years later costs 340€ with a game and a DS3...

340€ s one of the lowest prices around, but it must be considered that Canary Islands are an Autonomous Community with lower standard rate VAT than Spain mainland (and lower than most other EU countries too).

Anyhow my point was that with high MSRP and wholesale price, only big shops and chains (or, in the case of Canary Isl., thanks also to some tax advantages and local commerce incentives) with higher bargaining power can apply more reasonable prices and so they take all merit to the eyes of customers and gather all the fruits, while small shops are cut off. Lowering MSRP and wholesale price a little bit now, instead of waiting for the big cut later, would cost Sony only a few tens million $, but it would benefit smaller shops, improve Sony image and increase sales on a more constant basis than the bumps given by big games releases. A bigger user base months before Xmas would grant higher SW sales before and during next Xmas season too, so those few tens millions would be more than recovered from increased games royalties and profits (Sony has a lot of first party studios from which it gathers the full profit of the games, not only the PS3 royalties).
