I have a question for you man. What exactly is it that makes InFamous games gameplay cooler even though you stated the Prototype gameplay was brutal? I'll give you the graphics comment on Infamouses part, but the gameplay part still baffles me. Elaborate a little for me. because besides for the electricity, theres nothing the main character of InFamous can do that the character of prototype can't do.

Well the main character of InFamous can climb everything in the whole city (or so I've heard), and he can use his electricity powers to glide! Can Prototype's main do that? I actually don't know :P
OT: I'll be going by the developers. Sucker Punch have never made a bad game, or even a mediocre one, while Prototype is being made by Radical who have only made mediocre at best games... InFamous clear win for me!

You can climb everything as well in Prototype. In fact you climb and run walls up walls with speed. The character has super strength as well. The character in Prototype glides as well. He doesn't need electricity to do it.Screw this...just watch these videos. Please watch them both in HD.

You seem to know much about the game i didnt C in any vids yet if Proto can climb on things like telephone polls and such
does proto have a cover mechanic like Infamous does can he crouch behind things or lacth on to things
He doesn't need to...he has a body shield transformation. You'll see it in the vid where the people are shooting and throwing things at the protagonist. I really can't remember the last time I saw him climb a pole, but i've seen him climb/run up buildings, fences and barriers.
they never show evreything u want to see in game vids or previews i hate that, game devs should take it slow wen previewing a game and show everybody step by step wat u can and cant do in the game
True, but with prototype, though the package is a bit scattered it was still great.
thanx to the others i do see the lack of polish in proto comapared to imfamous but thats Y i was so bumed wen i found out about the game proto since there both pretty close to the same type of game i don't like to do reseach to find out which one is better
I agree that the polish is lacking in Prototype, but the gameplay is vastly superior as far as attributes, damage and destruction. The polish is really on graphics and the environment in InFamous.
