The mass market has been waiting for a ps3 price cut. Once they realize that Sony cannot afford one, they will just buy a ps3 anyway and the xbox will be finnished!

What percentage of this "mass market" when they go window shopping, swing by the videogame section to see what the price of the PS3 is, and see if the price drops?

In an economy where unemployment went over 8% in the USA, where retirement funds are shrinking, and people are concerned that they may get fired at any minute, do you have a waiting pattern for a console to drop in price? What percentage of people have the price of the PS3 in their mind?

And what would they have it in their mind for? Is it to play BluRay movies? If so, there are cheaper options than the PS3 for that. Is it to play games? The Wii and 360 are cheaper options. And if price was the deciding factor, the 360 would be outselling the Wii at this point.

I'm sorry, but this is simply nonsense. How many times must Sony tell you that the Xbox 360 is the most expensive console on the market? It is, in part, Microsoft's pigheaded refusal to even try to compete with Sony on price point that has doomed the 360.

How many times must Sony tell you that you must get a second job to buy a ps3? What bad economy? What 9-5 first job? "Everyone will know discipline".

The ps3 is an entertainment hub, that can play/stream movies from Netflix,play/download games and connect to the superior Live network...oh,wait...

You do know that if you put linux on it, you can do pretty much anything. One could say you could play xbox/gamecube/N64/SNES/genesis/dreamcast/saturn/nes/ atari games on it too. Since you can pretty much find linux emulators. Also you can surf the web in many flavors. Use the netflix that works with a computer(IE instantly watch movies like the xbox) The whole "live is better!!!1!one!!" is false. Besides the PSN is better for free.
