Thats like saying if Microsoft released their next OS for $1000. Will it fail? Yes, but it will still sell more than others who have released at that price.
OR
If APPLE released their next IPOD for $400. Will it sell. Hell yea but they will tremendously lose ground and probably not be market leader bt will still sell.
SONY on the other hand are in a much worse position as they are also losing money
