Through 2008 the PS3 gained on 360 but it was Happy Christmas 360 and the gap increased.
PS3 needs a substantial price cut to compete and the current financial climate does not look good for them. Having said that most 360's are cheaper than a Wii and that's not giving the Wii and problems!! 360 Elite is under £200 now!
Some of the PS3 titles will help shift consoles, but not enough this year.
Depends what the next gen of consoles offer features and at what price. Too many unknowns!
