AMD has a great driver team, but they probably just are lacking resources to support Linus at the moment. It's a company under tremendous economical pressur. You just have to forgive them.
And Linuz ain't making it easy by demanding a driver recount each 6 months.
The X1950 Pro is an old ass card anyway, weaker than a PS360.
Soleron, just buy a new 4870 and keep being a happy AMD fan. ^^
