I see your slightly edited post, and something odd occurs to me: that computer actually did see quite a bit of gaming -- Starcraft and Diablo II. But they never evolved past** that. Quite a coincidence that they finally unload that dinosaur just* when StarCraft II is around the corner ...
* Well, within 18 months? Coincidence ... diminishing ...
