To answer some questsions I have been getting via PM: I do not promote mods based on request. I pick the members who I feel are most suited for the position at the time based on time spent on the site, posting, timezone, and past moderations (i.e. if you have any you will not become a mod).

Aw man, now I'll never weasel my way into a position of power via violence and subterfuge! Curse my overly caustic sense of humor from however many months back!

Seriously speaking though, these two were the proper choice and I wish them all the luck in the world.

This means I'm still in the hunt!
