Exactly. it's pretty sad when a publisher has to accept a cash incentive to make a game instead of having to compete for the comsumers by making a quality product. And even with Microsoft's cash incentives, SE are still in financial trouble probably because they sacrificed quality.

 

You are projecting your own biases there.

SE is in trouble because they mismanaged FFXIII into a development blackhole that's sucking the company dry. Over three years since the 360 released, over two years since the ps3 and wii released - and they just released their first internally-developed (IU and SO4 are Tri-Ace affairs) "proper" jrpg, The Last Remnant.

Nevermind the other big IP, DQ, has been delayed to hell and back and gone through several revamps.

 

Keyword in red, thus not forcing my view as fact. But then again, maybe you can blame me for being a formal Squaresoft fanboy at one time that eventually saw the writing on the wall. Take that anyway you want.  Anyway, I'm outta here. Have some friends coming over to watch X-files on Blu-ray.  Peace
