Gamestop is taking your $15 trade-in and selling it for $55. With competition from Amazon, Best Buy, Toys'r Us for used games, the trade-in value will increase, or the used game cost will drop. Both good for you.
Another benefit is that publishers will stop charging full price for a games months or years after its release. $20 off after a game has been out for 3-6 months should be the standard.
