I'm surprised that people think that this game has zero appeal.

Ask yourself, "Who loves insects?"

Answer: Little boys

A few commercials on Nickelodeon, and this game could have been a lot bigger.

Wrong.  Little boys like to collect and maybe kill bugs, not pretend to be a bug.  A pokemon bug game might work but not one where your cast as a bug.

Want proof?   Sectaurs.

In the 80's Coleco launched a toyline on the premise that boys like bugs.  It had HUGE marketing.  A cartoon.  A comic series.  You name it, it had it.  It was trumpeted as the next 'big' thing.   Stores bought a ton.  And it failed completely.

Every hear of Creepy Crawlers?  I sure did when I was growing up. Whatever you brought up didn't fail cause it was bugs.  It failed cause it sucked.

They should have totaly got the the creepy crawlers license for this game lolol

Do you realize you're inadvertantly agreeing with me??  I said kids like to collect bugs, play with bugs just not be cast as a bug (unless it's cute).  Creepy Crawlers you make, collect and play with bugs.  Yes I agree this appeals to boys.  With Sectaurs (how did you not hear of this?) you tend to take on the role of the hero thereby casting yourself as a bug-like hero with a bug ride.  Not as appealing.  Same with Deadly Creatures.
