While I do not advocate piracy, it seems as if the organizations that oversee the music copyrights are doing it more for themselves than those who created the music. And that is the shame of it all.
Also, to make it gaming relevant -- even Nintendo will not pick a fight with the RIAA (the music references and clips are the reason for the lack of Earthbound on the VC). So this lawsuit appears to be Quixotic.
