Good given the market splits and current economy and the relative price points of the two consoles.
Taken individually since launch, and ignoring other consoles, I'd say both HD consoles have done pretty well. 360 has increased MS market share and brand awareness and seems to have survived the major blot on its landscape - RROD.
PS3 has recovered from a shaky start (due to price point) and is selling well for the expensive piece of high tech that it is.
The sales also show that, if the two consoles were exactly the same price the underlying demand for PS3 would be higher (of course that's easy to see technically but Sony have a big cost challenge in making it anywhere near an actuality).
Their combined sales show a really nice growth of HD gaming - but the fact they are basically competing so closely is making things too easy for the Wii in some ways.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
